Review
"Comparative studies in psychology are very rare and much needed. This comprehensive and well-written book certainly fills a gap in the clinical literature. Its organization, in which the various theories are applied to a single case study, makes the volume particularly helpful in evaluating various modalities of treatments....Not only does the text include comprehensive information about each theory, it also includes personal background about each clinician and critiques for each therapeutic approach. These features make it especially useful for the practitioner, scholar, and student."
--Florence L. Denmark, PhD, Robert Scott Pace Distinguished Professor, and Chair, Psychology Department, Pace University
"...exciting and gripping read for intelligent laypersons hungering for an inside glimpse into the world of psychotherapy, a world that each of us, ourselves or our friends and families, will be destined to enter sooner or later in our lives."
--Robert Perloff, PhD, Distinguished Service Professor Emeritus, Department of Psychology, University of Pittsburgh

6 Therapies and 1 Client
By Dr. Stacy
This book illustrates how all roads lead to Rome. Essentially, the same client is treated through six different therapies showing that no matter your theory, application of said, when done right, may lead to an effective treatment outcome.
